I've long been of the opinion that there's nothing wrong with a site that puts all of it's space to use, but many denizens of the web take this philosophy to a psychotic degree. Case in point, yokeup.net. Yokeup.net
Navigational Hazards
Abandon hope all ye who enter here! A website, if nothing else, should have a comprehensible navigational structure that is consistant from page to page. For a great example of what not to do, check out gsjettech.com.
I hope you like pressing the back button, because once you click on any one of the hideously ugly links you will be taken to a page with no links at all that looks nothing like the page you came from, which brings us to sin number 5.
Inconsistant Layout
It's hard enough making one layout look good, but some people, for reasons that will never be understood, have different layouts from one page to the next. Both yokeup.net and gsjettech.com are offenders in this category. Outright Corniness
Sometimes there's no one thing that you can point to that makes a website bad, but when you find yourself even considering the use of animated .gifs and you have no structure to speak of, it might be time to stop what your doing and come back at the problem fresh.
